Calling All Track and Field Athletes!
If you like to run, walk, jump, and throw, than be sure to join us for the Special Olympics Track and Field season. We practice from April to June, preparing for the State Competition. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you simply want to practice or want to compete, too.
This year our FIRST TRACK practice will be on April 14th (weather permitting) at 6 pm. Yes, we are starting a little early; the state aquatics/basketball ends early, so the registration forms for the Area 12 Track Meet are due early, too.
One more important note: This year you CAN do both track and tennis! See our tennis page for more information. Tennis starts on Wednesday, April 28.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
| • | All athletes, regardless of ability and age, are welcome to be a part of the South Region Stars Track and Field Team. |
| • | You must register by April 14. Click on the link at the bottom of this page to obtain a form. |
| • | It is important that you attend our first 3 practices of track practice in order to get registered for the Track Meets!!! We have to get all of our timings and measuring done on April 14 and 21. | • | If you do not come to at least one of these three track practices, we cannot register you for either of the Meets! | • | DON'T FORGET TO BRING WATER TO ALL PRACTICES! |
PRACTICE INFORMATION FOR TRACK AND FIELD:
We practice from 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm at the Simley High School Track in Inver Grove Heights (80th and Cahill -- go to the back of the school). (If you are also participating in tennis, your practice will also be Wednesdays starting April 28 at the Simley High School Tennis Courts, but from 5:00 - 6:15. See our tennis page for more information.)
